Local amnesia published in Plumwood Mountain

Eco-poetry and ecopoetics are fascinating and growing fields. When Plumwood Mountain put a call out for poems at the intersection of place, gender and climate change, I jumped at the chance to submit.

So very pleased that Local amnesia was accepted into this wonderful issue. It's got so many amazing poems in it. I recommend spending a few hours and reading every single one.

The journal officially launches on Wednesday 21 August at The Alderman, 134 Lygon Street, East Brunswick.

Poem at Slippage Lit

Slippage Lit is a pretty new online journal publishing interesting, experimental short pieces of prose and poetry.

Very happy that they have published a new experimental poem of mine: What you learn (TV lessons).

This poem comes with a content warning for language around violence and sexual violence.

The Dan O'Connell Saturday 10th July

Had a fun gig doing my first feature at the Dan O'Connell, one of Melbourne's longest running poetry rooms.

Cold and blustery outside.

Warm and wordy inside.
